Women In Media Development initiative played host to Female Journalists and Presenter in Abuja  to Mark  2018 International Women’s Day.

The  Training tagged Women in Media: Multi-Media Journalism Master Session” with discussions on the following topics:

• Contemporary Journalism Practice
• Understanding and application of multimedia skills for today’s media
• Tech Journalism Driven by Data, drone, webinars and Apps
• Goal setting and Career development.

The Session which took place at Denis Hotel, Abuja was facilitated by Seasoned Broadcast Journalist, Samson Omale who took the participants through practical sessions especially on how to get better at their various jobs.

Director of Public Affairs, National Broadcasting Commission, Hajiya Maimuna Jimada who declared the training open commended the efforts of the organizer in helping build the skills and capacity of women in Media.

The Lead Team, Omolola Oladimeji said capacity building of women who work in the Media is one of the cardinal Objectives of the organization
